What is GRE?

Graduate Record Examination, known widely by its abbreviation, GRE is a trademark of ETS. Students all over the world appear for GRE, to get an admission in the graduate schools across the globe. GRE scoring system is based on the scale of 130 to 170. The sections of GRE have their own scores, and their combined score makes the overall GRE scores. The Verbal and quantitative aptitude has the range of 130 to 170, and analytical writing has the bands from 0 to 6. Types of GRE test:
